This Ancient Healer Survived Hiroshima When Everything Else Died… Can It Help You Survive?

This Ancient Healer Survived Hiroshima When Everything Else Died… Can It Help You Survive? about undefined
This ancient tree survived the Hiroshima atomic bomb blast in August of 1945. Even when everything else died, it flowered the following spring.

Also known as maidenhair tree, this “living fossil” is one of just six percent of flowering plant species with separate sexes. Some trees are male, others female.

When taken as a supplement, it acts as an antioxidant, antibacterial, and antifungal. In addition, it could help you defeat cancer.

But be forewarned, it’s under attack from mainstream medicine…Continued below…

Why Most Health Foods are
a Waste of Money

You can take vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants by the handful and still suffer poor health. Now we know why. Our diets lack a vital food — a type of nutrient that even alternative doctors don’t know about. Thanks to this supplement, a mother’s lifelong migraines disappeared, and a man with “terminal” kidney cancer was alive 15 years later. He’s just one of thousands of cancer patients who have taken this supplement and seen remarkable results.

There’s more: It’s one of the most popular pain relievers in Germany, used by that country’s Olympic team to help athletes get rid of pain and accelerate healing from sports injuries. It outperforms prescription blood clot drugs—in my opinion, patients should take this supplement instead of blood-thinning drugs like warfarin. And it even helps 9 out of 10 autistic children. The mother of a 7-year-old autistic child starting giving him this supplement after reading my Special Report The Missing Ingredient—and he started speaking after having been nonverbal his whole life!

How can ONE supplement possibly do all this? Just ask yourself: What if you were getting NO vitamins in your diet? You’d be very sick. This nutrient is just as important and you’re getting almost none. Watch more here about The Missing Ingredient, and consider trying it yourself.
Ginkgo biloba extract helps mitigate more than 100 health conditions, including Alzheimer’s, asthma, and autism. A favorite among people who want to improve their brain health, it can sharpen your concentration, improve your memory, and elevate your mood.

A tried and true cancer fighter

While some mainstream scientists refuse to accept ginkgo biloba’s anticancer properties, people have used it for years to treat cancer and reduce the toxic effects of chemotherapy. It survived Hiroshima when everything else died… could it help you survive too?

The evidence indicates ginkgo extract reduces the risk of ovarian cancer, can reduce the size of gastric cancer tumors, and helps fight breast cancer.

Ginkgo helps healthy cells live longer. It reduces cellular stress and improves your cells’ ability to “breathe.”

Each cell has tiny engines or powerhouses called mitochondria. The mitochondria perform a process called respiration to turn oxygen (what you breathe) into energy. Ginkgo enhances the mitochondria’s ability to respire (or breathe).

This benefits many types of cells, including your neurons (brain cells), blood platelets, fibroblasts, liver cells, and heart cells.

How it works

Ginkgo biloba fights cancer in four distinct ways:1. Fights free radicals Free radicals damage your cells and your DNA. Ginkgo neutralizes free radicals in your body, like any good antioxidant.

Ginkgo fights free radicals via chemicals known as terpenoids and flavonoids. These chemicals protect your DNA from being damaged by free radicals. Without this protection, you may be more susceptible to heart disease and cancer.2. Regulates genes These same terpenoids and flavonoids also regulate genes.

One type of terpenoid – called ginkgolide B – prevents highly aggressive breast cancer cells from reproducing, according to a study published in Fundamental and Clinical Pharmacology.

Ginkgolide B also prevents certain types of aggressive ovarian cancer.

According to another study published in Oral Oncology, ginkgo biloba causes mouth cancer cells to commit suicide – i.e. undergo apoptosis. Scientists found DNA fragments where the cancer cells had died.3. Prevents tumor growth Ginkgo biloba reduces tumor size two ways: (1) tannins hinder tumor cell growth, and (2) beta-sitosterol and stigmasterol (which act like steroids) reduce inflammation.

According to natural health expert Dr. Joseph Mercola, ginkgo slows the growth of breast tumors by 80 percent. It also reduces the size of brain tumors, but to a lesser extent, and only for 50 days, despite continuous treatment.

In one study of 30 gastric cancer patients, ginkgo prevented lesions and reduced tumors by 73 percent.4. Stops aggressive cancer Certain types of highly invasive cancer cells over-produce something called benzodiazepine receptors (PBR). At normal levels, PBRs carry cholesterol into the mitochondria (cell engines) and help regulate cell growth. But some cancer cells make way too many PBRs.

Ginkgo extract interacts with PBRs and fights these aggressive types of cancer.

Under attack

Mainstream doctors and researchers are not sold on ginkgo biloba.

The National Institutes of Health recently published a study suggesting that Ginkgo biloba causes thyroid cancer and liver cancer.

In the study, scientists force-fed ginkgo biloba extract in corn oil to mice and rats. The rats contracted thyroid cancer and the mice contracted liver cancer.

The study concluded, “Ginkgo biloba extract caused cancers …”

Mainstream doctors and media have promoted this study as hard, irrefutable scientific fact. However, their study was deeply flawed. In fact, I’ll say something I rarely say: This study is total nonsense. Here’s why. . .1. Low Quality Ginkgo In the United States, you purchase a standardized Ginkgo biloba extract. The researchers did not use standardized ginkgo. Instead, they used a Chinese extract, which contained higher levels of the more toxic ginkgolic acid.2. Too Much Ginkgo To match the amount of ginkgo researchers fed the little rodents, you would have to consume one-third pound of ginkgo extract every day for 60 years!

You would have to take about 750 capsules of ginkgo extract every day. That’s 55 to 108 times the normal human dose!3. Too Much Corn Oil Researchers combined the ginkgo extract with corn oil before feeding it to the mice and rats.

Health professionals have long known that corn oil can make you more susceptible to toxins and cancers. Corn oil contains hydrogenated oils, is heavily processed, and usually comes from genetically modified crops. Bottom line: corn oil increases your risk of cancer and heart disease.

To make matters worse, researchers did not feed the mice and rats in the control group corn oil. Without this control, it is impossible to know if the corn oil or the ginkgo caused cancer in the other groups.

Why fund this pseudo science?

For good reason, natural health professionals question the validity of this study.

Some wonder, “Why would the [National Institutes of Health] spend the inordinate amount of money that it costs to produce a study so utterly devoid of legitimacy, so obviously pseudo science?”

If you know much about alternative medicine, the question almost answers itself. The mainstream medical profession has a long, relentless history of trying to discredit supplements. Natural medicine is a threat to their expensive system of medicine based on patented pharmaceutical drugs and on licensing procedures that give the medical profession a monopoly on health care.

Many other uses

Besides fighting cancer, ginkgo also helps with asthma, bronchitis, cardiovascular disease, circulatory disorders, dementia, hearing loss, memory loss, multiple sclerosis, sexual dysfunction, and stress.

It can help improve your memory, alleviate headaches, increase your concentration, boost your immune system, detoxify your body, and improve your circulation.

The benzodiazepine receptors (PBR) that fight more aggressive forms of cancer also alleviate some neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease. Performing mental exercises while taking ginkgo extract makes this treatment more effective.

In my experience the effects of this herb are very mild. Perhaps they would be noticeable at higher doses than I take.

Using ginkgo biloba safely

You can purchase ginkgo biloba extract in tablet, capsule, and liquid forms from health food stores or online. You can also purchase dried ginkgo leaves for tea.

Be careful, though. Ginkgo’s seeds contain the naturally occurring neurotoxin known as ginkgotoxin. This toxin can cause neurological problems, especially if you are naturally susceptible, if you don’t have enough B6 in your body, or if you take too much ginkgo. The leaves are generally harmless, but avoid the seeds. When you buy ginkgo, examine the label. It should not contain ginkgolic acid.

Frankly, I would sidestep both the seeds and the tea and just take the standardized extract capsules.

Because ginkgo acts as a blood thinner, stop taking it at least 36 hours before any surgical procedures. And talk to your doctor if you have a clotting disorder or take prescription blood thinners such as warfarin (Coumadin).

Other possible side effects include nausea, headaches, dizziness, and rash. I should think these side effects are rare, but who knows? Statistics on this sort of thing are not reliable. What I do know is that only a very tiny number of people in this country ever have to go to a doctor, much less an emergency room, because of a reaction to a food supplement or herbal remedy.

If used safely, Ginkgo biloba can protect you from aggressive cancers and help your body fight cancer and tumors more effectively.
